Youth Blitz Tournaments
(USCF Blitz Rated & FIDE Rated)
1. Saturday May 9, 2026 from 7:30pm-9:30pm (Trophy Awards)
2. Sunday May 10, 2026 from 7:45pm-9:45pm (Money Awards; Combined/Playing with Adult Blitz)
(2 Separate Tournaments, 2 Separate Entry Fees, 2 Separate Trophy Awards/Prize Funds)
Format:
- Sections & Rounds: 1 Section For All Players 5 Round DSS (Play 2 games against each opponent for total of 10 games)
- Official Rating Used: Higher of your USCF regular or Blitz rating will be used. This rating will be based on your ratings as of May 6, 2026. Other ratings may be used at TD's discretion.
- Time Control: G/3; inc 2.
- Trophies: 1st place - 5th place +
- Entry Fee: $25 by 4/1/26, $30 by 5/1/26, $40 on 5/2/26 or after.
- Late Registration: After 6:45pm on May 9, 2026.
- Membership: USCF membership required for all players. You may join onsite. Players will not be allowed to compete in round 1 without a valid membership.
- Cancellation/Refunds: Cancellations and refunds are given if requested by May 1. There is a $10 admin fee charged per tournament. On May 2, there are no refunds. Please allow 5-10 days for processing. Withdrawals: If you wish to withdraw from a tournament, please contact a tournament director and inform him/her of your decision to not continue participating in the tournament. Thank you.
