Format:

• Students solve a number of tactical exercises with increasing difficulty. Players are scored by the
  number of exercises solved as well as the total amount of time used.
• 2 Sections: Open, Under 1200
• Awards: Top 4 in each section + Top Under 1500 (In Open Section) + Top Under 600 (In Under 1200 Section).
• Entry Fee: $25 by 4/1/26, $30 by 5/1/26, $40 on May 2, 2026 or after
• Grading: Your child's Puzzle Solving exercises will be graded on Sunday with final results announced at the Final Awards ceremony on Sunday. We will announce/present the awards at that time. All Competition papers will be made available for pickup after awards ceremony.



• Cancellation/Refunds: Cancellations and refunds are given if requested by May 1. There is a $10 admin fee charged per tournament. On May 2, there are no refunds. Please allow 5-10 days for processing. Withdrawals: If you wish to withdraw from a tournament, please contact a tournament director and inform him/her of your decision to not continue participating in the tournament. Thank you.
